The Recreation and Conservation Office’s (RCO) is offering a new Community Outdoor Athletic Facilities (COAF) Program. This program will provide funding to build, expand, or renovate outdoor athletic facilities and is focused on helping support meaningful athletic experiences in communities that lack recreational opportunities, have underserved populations, and possess limited financial capacity.

We would like to make you aware of some updates to the Grant Application Schedule posted on the COAF webpage. Program policies will be published after the first of the year and RCO will begin accepting pre-applications on January 17, 2024.

Because this is a new grant program, prospective applicants are highly encouraged to attend a ninety-minute application webinar beginning at 10:00 a.m. on January 17, 2024. Registration is available via Zoom and a recording of the webinar will be posted on the website shortly after it is complete. After registering you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
