Inclusion: Have a Plan

Wednesday, April 10 | 10:45am - 12:00pm

Session Description:

Establishing a sound inclusion process for youth with disabilities can seem difficult if organizations don't have the training or experience. Using the City of Bellevue’s Choices Inclusion Plan as an example, participants will learn how to develop an inclusion plan that complies with ADA Law and is manageable within their department’s resources. This session can be taken on its own or in conjunction with Thursday’s session “Inclusion: Make It Work!”

  • Learn and understand about inclusion planning.
  • Learn and understand an intake interview process.
  • Leave the session with tools to create an inclusion plan for a city or work group.

Speakers:

Kin Indurkar, Community Services Supervisor, City of Bellevue
