Description: Bellevue Parks & Community Services joined forces with the Bellevue Rotary Club to construct the Inspiration Playground, an innovative play space where kids of all ages and abilities can play and explore at their own pace. Learn how the City and Rotary raised funds, designed, and built a world-class, universally-accessible play experience. Key to this project was an incredibly strong partnership between the city and the Rotary. Representatives from both organizations will be on hand to share what went well, and what could have gone better, during the design and construction of this $5.5M playground.

Speaker: Glenn Kost brings over 30 years of experience in park planning, design, and development, and leads Bellevue's team of park planning and development professionals. During his tenure with Bellevue, Glenn has overseen the design and construction of a number of major projects, including construction of South Bellevue Community Center, Bellevue Youth Theatre, Mercer Slough Environmental Education Center, and Bellevue Botanical Garden to name a few.
