WRPA Legacy Partnership Program
Statement of Purpose
The WRPA Legacy Partnership Program is designed to honor long-term sponsors who are supporters not only of WRPA but also of the community. By moving beyond transactional sponsorships, we celebrate the longevity and loyalty of partners who have stood with WRPA year after year. This program serves as a 'thank you' for your sustained commitment to the field of recreation and parks.
Key Program Focuses
- Loyalty-Based: Recognition is earned through time and consistency, not by increasing the dollar amount of a single sponsorship.
- No Entry Fee: This is a value-add program that rewards existing behavior rather than requiring a separate "buy-in."
- Consecutive Commitment: To maintain status, sponsors must remain active annually and consecutive of the current year (i.e., you were three years consecutive 2022,2023,2024, took a break in 2025, then came back in 2026, you would start over at 1 consecutive year).
Legacy Partner Tiers
Foundation Partner (3 - 5 years) This tier recognizes sponsors who have made a multi-year commitment but are still relatively new to the program.
- Linked company name recognition on a Legacy Partner Program webpage of the organization's website.
- Recognition at Annual Meeting
- Digital badges or seals to display on their website and marketing materials.
Heritage Partner (6 - 10 years) This tier recognizes sponsors who have shown a strong, sustained commitment, this level offers more prominent and exclusive recognition.
- All benefits from the Foundation Partner tier.
- Linked logo on Legacy Partnership Program webpage.
- A personalized plaque to display at their business.
- Annual impact reports detailing how their support has made a difference.
Pioneer Partner (11 - 19 years) This tier recognizes sponsors who are loyal and long-term partners and provide significant, exclusive benefits.
- All benefits from Foundation Partner and Heritage Partner tiers.
- Linked logo on Legacy Partnership Program webpage.
- Recognition in Bi-monthly newsletter.
- Interview with the President about your company and contributions to WRPA to be shared on the WRPA website and social media.
Lifetime Legacy (20+ years) This tier is the highest level of recognition, reserved for an organization's most dedicated and long-standing supporters.
