Introduction
The Parks & Recreation Risk Management Leadership Academy (PRMLA) convenes current and emerging public-sector leaders for a transformative learning experience focused on leadership, risk management, service excellence, and improved workplace performance.
Program Overview
Goal: Strengthen leadership capabilities in parks and recreation professionals through a curriculum grounded in risk-management principles and exceptional customer service.

Risk Management Sessions
- April – PRMLA risk management modules at the WRPA Annual Conference*

Presentations & Graduation
- May 20 – Guest speakers, project presentations and graduation ceremony
- Location: Tukwila Community Center (In person)
Plus: Additional virtual cohort meetings occur throughout March–May to keep learning active between in-person sessions.
