WRPA Spotlight Awards: Champions for Change Award

The Champions for Change Award is presented to an agency with unique, innovative and exemplary practices of and or all of the following:

increasing access,
fostering diversity and inclusion,
addressing environmental impact
overall enhancement of social equity within their community or organization.

These are measurable practices that remove barriers, result in positive social change, and inspire others to follow in their path. It improves the working experience and engagement levels of employees from underrepresented communities, and/or the lives of all people through the delivery of excellent services and programs

Eligibility Requirements

Program/ implementation withing the past two years.
Must be a member of WRPA To submit a nomination and to be eligible to win.

Evaluation Criteria

Successfully addressed a community or regional need.
Successfully altered fundamental practices for the benefit of staff and organization.
Demonstrated a creative use of resources, and or partnerships

Nomination Process

Complete the online nomination form, where you will be asked to provide the following information:
- Contact information for nomination
- Name of Agency
- Year the project/program was fully operational
- A Description of the nominated innovative, unique practices and how they have been impactful

In your confirmation email, you will receive a link to upload a maximum of three photos or graphics to the WRPA office for the award category you are applying for. Be sure to name your files with 'First name.Last Name.Champions.Change - Photo'
Video footage is highly encouraged. In your confirmation email, you will receive a link to upload a maximum of one video to the WRPA office for the award category you are applying for to be no more than 2-min. Be sure to name your files with 'First name.Last Name.Champions.Change - Video'
