Visual Tree Assessment (VTA) TrainingRegistration is now closed. Cost: About: Who Should Attend: A certified arborist or anyone interested in arboriculture. Any parks, natural resources, street tree maintenance, or trails employees. About Our Speaker: Scott D. Baker, principal and founder of Tree Solutions Inc. (Seattle, WA), has worked with trees for over 40 years. He has extensive experience with construction, building codes, tree houses and zip lines. Scott utilizes his past experience as a successful developer to help bridge the gap between development and trees. He has extensive knowledge of tree biology and has partnered with several international scientists to help implement new tools and techniques in an effort to advance the use of science and technology in arboriculture. Scott is a respected speaker and educator throughout the United States and certified to teach the ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ) course internationally. He is a Registered Consulting Arborist (#414), Board Certified Master Arborist (#PN-0670B), and a Qualified Tree Risk Assessor.
