The department is considering amending the water recreation rules to adopt the CDC’s Model Aquatic Health Code (MAHC) standards. 

Update on rulemaking timeline!

The TAC will be meeting in June and July to discuss the remaining MAHC sections. These sections include requirements for facility staffing, aquatic facilities management, contamination response, and recirculation and water treatment.
