WRPA Social Circles Rules & Etiquette

When engaging with other WRPA members within an affinity circle or starting and participating in a discussion please abide by the follow general rules and etiquette:

  • Do not send administrative messages, such as "remove me from the circle.” Instead, click on the “leave circle” link under the circle option.
  • When starting a discussion, state the topic and pose the question and/or specific issue you would like to discuss as concisely and clearly as possible. This allows members to respond more appropriately and quickly to your posting.
  • Think about the content of your post. Don’t challenge or attack others. All defamatory, abusive, profane, threatening, offensive, or illegal materials are strictly prohibited. Do not post anything that you would not want the world to see or that you would not want anyone to know came from you.
  • If you are arranging an event, start a new discussion so people may RSVP or ask questions about the gathering directly. Clearly state the purpose, start and end time, location, organizer, RSVP contact, and all applicable costs.
  • Reproduction of Posts: WRPA reserves the right to reproduce postings to the Listserv.
  • Please report any inappropriate behavior to the WRPA Office.
